Search underway for suspect who vandalized Leavenworth park
Chelan County deputies are searching for the suspect who vandalized a park in Leavenworth.
LEAVENWORTH, Wash. - Deputies have released a description of a suspect who they say vandalized a park in Downtown Leavenworth over the weekend.
Late Saturday night, on Dec. 22, the Chelan County Sheriff's Office said the ground in Gazebo Park on Front Street was vandalized by a truck.
Deputies described the suspect vehicle as a 2024 silver Toyota Tundra with Texas license plate TTR1528. The suspected driver appeared to be a man in his 20s to 30s.

Witnesses recorded video of the suspect spinning donuts on the grass, which destroyed a 90-foot by 50-foot section.
The sheriff's office said once the suspect is identified, there will be probable cause for their arrest for reckless driving and second-degree malicious mischief.
