Audrianna Young is wanted for Murder in the Second Degree
On April 18, 2023. the 20-year-old Tucker was shot multiple times near Yakima Ave and 6th Street. According to court documents, several people were at that intersection at the time of the shooting, and no one present claimed to have seen what happened.
Tucker was taken to the hospital before police arrived, but later died from his injuries.
Young was arrested in Everett and questioned in connection to the shooting but wasn't initially charged.
According to court documents, Young was with the shooter and had gone to confront her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend.
Tucker and another man (the ex-boyfriend of Young) met her and the shooter, later identified as Artavious Magee, outside of a home.
Witnesses reported hearing six to seven shots and Magee and Young took off. Court documents say the shooting stemmed from Young wanting to fight her ex-boyfriend.
"I don't know what your thoughts were on that day when you brought Artavious to the apartment but the simple fact that you sent a message saying, ’I'm gonna light this place up' lets me know that you knew trouble was going to ensue. Whether you gave it a second thought or not, you have forever impaired our family. My grandsons have to grow up without their father. I'm constantly having to comfort my daughter as to why this happened to her brother," said Tucker's mother, La Jonna Johnson.
Magee, 23, was booked for second-degree murder and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held on $1.5 million dollars bail.
An anonymous tipster said Magee had told her that he had to kill the victim because he thought he was going to kill him, according to court documents.
Magee has prior felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms. He is being held on $1,500,000 bail.
"[Tucker] was in the prime of his life. He was 20. He was navigating being a young man," his mother, Johnson, told FOX 13 in April. "He just had a really good heart. I wasn't there to hold his hand when he took his last breath, but I at least want to be able to get justice for him."
