SEATTLE -- One of Seattle's most popular tourist attractions is closing amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The Space Needle will suspend operations starting Friday, March 13 through March 31.
"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this closure and look forward to welcoming Guests and Space Needle Team Members back to the icon of Seattle when we reopen," a Thursday statement from the Space Needle reads.
