Olympia police investigating shooting that injured two; one man reportedly shot in head

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Tuesday night in Olympia.

According to Olympia police, officers were called around 10:00 p.m. to reports of a shooting near 5th Avenue SE and Washington Street. Police say an argument between two groups of people led to someone shooting a man. The suspect turned the gun on himself and died at the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police said there was "no known additional threat to public."
