Man dies near Chehalis after tree falls on him

CHEHALIS, Wash. — A man has died in a logging incident in Washington.

The Chronicle reports the man died on Monday after being struck by a tree on a property west of Chehalis.

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Dusty Breen says another man with professional experience was cutting down trees on his property when a tree fell on the man who died.
