Woman hiking near North Bend falls 100 feet to her death, sheriff’s office says

NORTH BEND, Wash. — A woman hiking on Teneriffe Falls Trail near North Bend fell about 100 feet to her death Friday morning, the King County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office said responders found the woman dead at the scene.  She was about 3 miles up the trail.

The 7.5 mile trail is in Twin Falls State Park near North Bend.

It was unknown if she was hiking alone or with others.
