SW Idaho police investigating after finding infant remains
NAMPA, Idaho (AP) _ Police in southwest Idaho say FBI lab results have determined that the skeletal remains of an infant found under the porch of a vacant home are female.
Nampa police tell the Idaho Press Tribune (http://bit.ly/2bli7Ma ) that results from the lab received on Tuesday didn’t match the infant’s DNA to any in the system and no arrests have been made.
Authorities found the remains at a vacant Nampa home on Aug. 15, 2015, that had multiple renters previously.
Police say the remains had been under the porch for about a year before being found during a construction project.
Police say they are looking into who lived in the house.
