Starbucks recalling straws after children injured
Starbucks is recalling millions of stainless steel straws due to reports of children being injured.
Starbucks sold the straws on their own, and as part of a set with Cold-to-Go stainless steel cups.
The straws can poke children in the mouth. There have been three reports of children suffering cuts to their mouth while drinking. Customers are warned to keep kids from handling or using the straws.
A Starbucks location in Seattle has posted a sign at the checkout, warning customers about the recall.
About 2.5 million straws have been sold in the U.S., both online and at Starbucks.com, from June 2012 through June 2016.
