SEATTLE -- A local group is launching a campaign to stop an initiative it says targets transgender people.

On Thursday, the group called Washington Won't Discriminate held a rally urging voters to oppose I-1515, which it says looks to repeal the state's non-discrimination protections for transgender people.

Last year, lawmakers passed new regulations allowing people to access bathrooms and locker rooms based on they gender they identify with.

A group called Just Want Privacy filed I-1515 against that plan, saying many people in the state don't agree with the new regulations.
