Video shows huge flames erupting from south Seattle home

SEATTLE — A home caught fire just before noon Tuesday in south Seattle.

Firefighters were called to a fully involved fire at a multi-story home near S Donovan St and 16th Ave S.

Video from Clark Metler at the scene showed huge flames shooting out of the residence. Smoke could be seen billowing into the sky from miles away.

Authorities said this is an abandoned house. It’s unclear what may have caused the fire.
