SEATTLE -- A porcupine at the Woodland Park Zoo predicted the outcome of Friday’s Apple Cup game on Tuesday.

The zoo arranged Husky and Cougar snack helmets filled with apples at the end of a table and let the porcupine choose. The porcupine chose the Cougars to win it all.

The prickly predator is only one-year-old, so she does not have a track record.

The porcupine weighs 19 pounds and was born to parents Molly and Oliver who also live at the zoo.
