ORTING, Wash. — Orting police asked for the public’s help Wednesday night in finding a missing man who walked away from a medical care facility Monday.

Police said John E. Cousans, 64, did not advise staff or friends that he was leaving the property and has not made contact with the facility since. He is believed to be on foot.

Cousans has medical needs and may appear to be confused, police said.

He is described as 6-foot-2, about 230 pounds, with gray hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a button-up shirt and tennis shoes.

If you see Cousans, you’re asked to contact the Orting Police Department via Fife/South Sound Dispatch at 253-922-6633, Extension 1. Or call 911 and reference Orting Police Department case number OPD-15-00570.
