Hope the woman pulls through. People – make sure you buy peepholes for your doors, and harden your house to prevent easy access. All doors can be kicked open with a single kick if you haven’t taken steps to strengthen the door jambs and strike plate. Get a dog if you can have animals. Install a security system. Buy some cheap security cameras. Last but not least – *arm yourselves*.

My friend is a friend of the victim who is at Harborview. The doctors said she will not make it and the injuries are fatal.
It is very very tragic and devastating and I am sending all of my thoughts and prayers to her family. RIP Sarah.
