6 people escape house fire in Kitsap County (VIDEO)

BREMERTON, Wash. -- Six people, including a woman and her baby, have escaped a house fire in north Kitsap County.

The fire damaged the home on Circle Drive in the Edgewater neighborhood around 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

The Kitsap Sun reports that a 19-year-old woman escaped with her 10-month-old son after smelling smoke and hearing crackling noises in a bedroom.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause.

No injuries were reported. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
