VIDEO: Helicopter crew hoists injured hiker to safety at Mailbox Peak

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A helicopter crew helped rescue an injured hiker from Mailbox Peak on Sunday.

In a video of the rescue, search-and-rescue volunteers appeared to locate the woman and prepare her to be lifted to safety.

The helicopter hoisted the injured woman and transported her for treatment.

According to King County Sheriff Air Support, the woman suffered a broken arm.

No further information was released.
