ONALASKA, Wash. — A 16-year-old girl brought prescription medicine to Onalaska High School Friday and handed pills out to at least four other girls and took some herself, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office said.

There was “possibly alcohol involved,” too, the sheriff’s office said.

After some got sick, the girls were transported to Providence Hospital for observation.

The sheriff’s office said an investigation was under way, with  possible pending charges of delivery of a controlled substance.
