EVERETT — Authorities investigated reports of a man with a gun Thursday evening at the Boeing factory in Everett.

Everett police said they received two calls to 9-1-1 around 7:00 p.m. reporting a man with a rifle on Boeing property.

Officials called the reports “unsubstantiated,” but Boeing officials said all precautions were being taken to ensure safety.

Police evacuated employees while officers searched the facility.

At 9:30 p.m., police said there was no threat and the search was over. Nothing suspicious was found.

Employees were returning to work as normal.
