SEATTLE — We’re starting out with a few showers this morning and some fog. This afternoon will be mostly cloudy and fairly mild with highs in the upper 40s.  At midnight, it looks dry with perhaps some fog, and not too cold with temps in the mid 40s.

New Year’s Day starts out foggy and it could stay foggy most of the day.  Highs in the mid-to-upper 40s. Rain returns on Thursday and into Friday. It’ll be breezy too.

Highs mid 40s. We’ll get some decent mountain snow with this system as well.

The first weekend of 2014 looks partly sunny, but chillier, with highs in the low 40s and overnight lows near freezing.
