‘Pot Czar’ in Olympia to discuss marijuana rules

SEATTLE — Mark Kleiman, who is leading Washington State’s marijuana legalization efforts, is making his first trip to the state.

Kleiman is a professor of Public Policy at UCLA. His firm, Botec, is helping the State Liquor Control Board craft rules for growing, processing and selling pot now that voters have made it legal in our state.

Stores are expected to open in early 2014.
