Woman found dead after West Seattle house fire

SEATTLE - One person was killed in a fire that ripped through a West Seattle home early Wednesday morning. The Seattle Fire Department confirmed crews found the body of a woman inside the house.

Flames and smoke poured from the home off SW 100th and 44th Avenue SW. Firefighters say three other people escaped the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Some wires were down in the area, so people were advised to stay away.
