Deputies searching for 4 men who reportedly forced way into Edmonds home, assaulted man

EDMONDS, Wash. -- Deputies are searching for four men accused of forcing their way into an Edmonds home and assaulting a man.

Authorities were called Friday morning to the 8100 block of 228th St SW.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, witnesses reported four suspects arrived in an older maroon Jaguar and parked at a house down the street from the incident. Investiagors said afterward all four men fled in the same vehicle.



Shots were fired and officers recovered weapons at the scene.

Authorities could not confirm if the resident was shot, but said he suffered a head injury.

Edmonds police said they were assisting the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office with the investigation.

No further information was immediately available.
