Six people injured in 4-car crash in Seattle



SEATTLE -- Six people were hurt and at least one of them suffered serious injuries after a crash involving four cars.

Firefighters were called around 8:45 a.m. to Westlake Ave. N. near Crockett Street in Seattle.

Officials used the jaws of life to remove one person from a car. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known, but she was taken away by ambulance.

All lanes of Westlake remained blocked at 10:00 a.m. from Fremont Ave. to Newton St. as investigators remained at the scene.
