Pilot injured when small plane crashes near Fall City

FALL CITY, Wash. -- A pilot was injured Friday when his small plane crashed near Fall City, authorities said.

The pilot, an adult male, was the only person on the plane when it went down in a field in the 4000 block of Fall City Carnation Road SE at about 6:24 p.m., authorities said.

"The single-engine Cessna 206 crashed under unknown circumstances in a field," FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said. "The pilot, who is the only person on board, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

"The FAA will investigate," he said.
