Police hope surveillance video can lead to burglar who allegedly stole $40,000 in jewelry

Jason James Mora

SEATTLE -- Police are looking for a man suspected in taking $40,000 in jewelry from a home, and then riding off on the victim's bike.

Seattle Police Detectives said Jason James Mora, 41, smashed his way into a home on June 12 in the 2300 block of Harvard Avenue East. Mora made off with thousands of dollars in jewelry and cash, detectives said, before leaving the victim's property on a stolen bike.

Detectives hope surveillance footage taken at the scene can lead to his arrest.
