GRAHAM, Wash. -- Pierce County sheriff's deputies and K-9 teams are searching for a missing 28-year-old Enumclaw mom after her car was found Monday near Graham with the keys still inside.
"Her car was over the end of a ravine, looks like somebody tried to hide it, and that's not something she would do," Pierce County sheriff's detective Ed Troyer said Tuesday. "It wasn't an accident, it was put there intentionally. The keys were still in the car."
Nicole White, a mother of two boys, was last seen Saturday night after meeting up with some people at Jeepers bar in Spanaway. She was reported missing early Sunday morning by her mother.
"Sunday morning, (she) didn't show up for work, didn't come to get her boys, which is very unlike her, she would either call if she was going to be late, text, something," said her cousin Dana Johnson.
White's red Dodge Neon was spotted Monday over a ravine in the 26000 block of 70th Avenue East near Graham.
Search dogs on the scene led detectives to a nearby pond. However, no sign of White was found.
"We are hoping for the best, but expecting probably something sinister happened," Troyer said.
White's family has posted fliers with her photos all over the area and are hoping she is OK.
"If you are somewhere hidden, or being held and you're by a TV, remember, Nicole, we love you, we will not give up on you. Please don't give up, don't give up," said her uncle, Tom Jones.
Anyone who has information on the disappearance is encouraged to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
