Pedestrian hit, killed while on I-5 in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a 55-year-old man who was standing in a lane of traffic on Interstate 5 was struck and killed early Sunday.

The patrol says George Dlouhy, of Seattle, was hit by a Toyota Corolla heading southbound around 2:41 a.m. in Everett. As he was lying in the road, he was hit by two other cars.

The driver of the Corolla was injured but released at the scene. The other drivers were not hurt.
