Russian police move in after traveling 12s take Hawk pride to Moscow
MOSCOW, Russia -- A couple of twelves learned the hard way that the Moscow City Police are likely Patriots fans.
On a recent business trip to Moscow, Mike Nieman and a friend snapped a photo of themselves holding a 12 flag in Red Square, with St. Basil's and the Kremlin in the background. The 12s had a flag out for about a minute, Nieman said, before they were contacted by the police and told to put it away.
He politely complied.
"They're probably Brady fans," Nieman said.
Nieman returned to Seattle yesterday, he said, so he luckily can watch Super Bowl XLIX from the comfort of his home city.
12s from all over the world have been sending photos of their 12 gear. Have a photo you'd like to send? Submit it here.
