WASHINGTON -- "I'm hoping you have some of this out of your system when you come here for Christmas."

That was one mother's piece of advice to her two sons who were arguing political matters on CSPAN Monday.

Brothers Brad and Dallas Woodhouse were guests on C-SPAN to talk about their documentary, "Woodhouse Divided."

Things quickly got a little heated as politics and the topic of bipartisanship came into play on the show.  So their mom decided to call the normal call-in line and try to calm her boys down.

"Oh God, it's mom," Brad Woodhouse said almost immediately upon hearing her voice.

"I'm your mother," she says right off the bat. "And I disagree that all families are like ours."

Mrs. Woodhouse said raising her boys, "hadn't been easy," but she they were brought up in a house of politics and she acknowledged their passion.  Still, Mrs. Woodhouse doesn't want to see her boys fighting around the Christmas dinner table.

"I hope they get this out of their system today on their program," Mrs. Woodhouse said.
