Caboose tips over on kid's train, injures riders

PUYALLUP -- Several riders were injured Saturday afternoon when the caboose of a children's amusement train tipped over, according to Puyallup police.
Medics treated several people at the scene. One child was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police closed the intersection at 6th Avenue SW and 2nd Street SW while they investigated the crash.
The train ride was part of Meeker Days -- it's the 75th year of the annual community event.
Police said a preliminary investigation found the caboose was improperly loaded.
