SEATTLE -- On shore flow off the cool Pacific Ocean isn't quite as strong as yesterday. That means the morning marine cloud layer isn't quite as thick as yesterday, so they'll burn off earlier and we'll get a touch warmer.

TODAY starts with some clouds and then we'll see beautiful June sunshine. High temps near 70 for Seattle, 75-80 for SW Washington & Portland. Overnight lows around 50.

TOMORROW also looks nice. Brief clouds to sun. Highs again 70-75 for Seattle/Puget Sound, 75-80 for Portland/Willamette Valley.

THE REST OF THE WEEK and THE WEEKEND all look great. After such a soggy spring, we're continuing this unseasonably dry June pretty much for the foreseeable future. So far we've seen zero measurable rain for Seattle. Even the driest June even on record for the Emerald City back in 1951 had 0.13" of rain. There is a slight chance for some showers Sunday afternoon-- but that's mostly for the northern Washington Coast, San Juan Islands and areas inland north of Everett.
