Time is running out to claim $3.3 million winning Lotto ticket

16 co-workers claim third winning Powerball ticketLYNNWOOD- Do you have the winning $3.3 million lottery ticket?

One lucky (or forgetful) Lotto winner has only one week left to claim their prize.

A Washington Lottery prize remains unclaimed after the drawing on March 25, and winners must claim their winnings within 180 days.

The ticket was sold in Lynnwood, but the name of the store that sold the ticket is not being released due to security concerns.

According to the Herald, Lottery spokesman Arlen Harris said it’s unusual for winners to take so long to claim their bounty. Typically, they do so within a week of the drawing and after consulting an attorney or financial planner.

If a ticket goes unclaimed, two-thirds of the leftover money goes back into the state lottery, and the other one-third goes into an account to support economic development.

The winning numbers from the March 25 drawing are 3-8-12-17-25-30.

Wouldn't it be awful to find it 3 weeks from now? Hope they find it before the deadline.
