TACOMA — Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are all basketball superstars, but they may have to watch out.
A family of stars that call Tacoma home are quickly making a name for themselves. On the basketball court, they call Logan Walker ‘Spicy.’
Now, some around town are calling him a superstar. He’s only 6-years-old but already, his skills have landed him a full page layout in TIME Magazine. “It looks, um, fantastic,” says Walker.
“He’s a celebrity all around town, everyone wants his autograph, at the barbershop they want a pic and all over the place,” Lonnie Walker said.
All the attention came with his team, The Washington Evolution, winning the second grade national championship in Tennessee. But it’s not just Logan; his siblings are great players as well.
“These kids have been dribbling since they were walking,” Lonnie Walker said.
