SEATTLE — Seahawks coach Pete Carroll gets animated for the kids, contributing a voice-over to his persona in Sunday’s Nicktoons episode “Broken Dreams,” for the “NFL Rush Zone: Season of the Guardians” series.

During the episode, the Guardians get a lesson in community service. Along with Carroll, Texans running back Arian Foster and Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez also make appearances.

The show is based on NFL Rush Zone, the NFL’s online world for children. The series follows Ish and friends from his youth tackle football league on a journey to protect the league’s 32 teams and the world from a plotting master villain. During each episode, NFL players and coaches voice their animated personas and each NFL team is showcased throughout the season.

The show premieres Sunday, Aug. 18, at 11:00 a.m. EST.  An encore episode can be seen on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 8:00 a.m. EST on the NFL Network.
