Gov. Inslee’s approval rating takes a hit

insleeOLYMPIA, Wash — A new poll suggests Washingtonians aren’t impressed with Gov. Jay Inslee’s job so far. An Elway Poll asked people about Inslee’s performance during his first six months in office.

Just under half rated him ”only fair” or ”poor.” Forty-percent had a positive view, saying the governor was doing a ”good’ or ‘excellent” job.

Analysts believe the low approval rating reflects the outcome of two special legislative sessions and the failure to pass universal background checks on gun purchases and a new transportation package.

Former Gov. Christine Gregoire’s approval rating was at 43 percent during the same amount of time in office.

The poll of 406 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percent.

Perhaps Elway should do a poll rating the performance of the fumbling -bumbling legislature. Are they working for the average Washington citizen or their corporate special interests?

Not to worry, his approval rating can never go as low as that of Christine Gregoire. If he would chop Jim McDermott's head off, his rating would sky rocket to 100% and beyond!

I still can't believe this moron ever had any approval. I guess that's what the pot smoking, gay loving King County people think of as a leader. Stupid is as stupid does.
