pacificIn her first act as mayor of Pacific, Leanne Guier, is beefing up the city’s police department.

Thursday night, the city council selected Guier, to replace Cy Sun, who was recalled by voters in a special election.   She immediately hired two candidates today, to fill the city’s vacant police officer positions.   She says Pacific has struggled with fewer officers, which has led to an increase in crime.
