SEATTLE — Former Gov. Christine Gregoire is part of the “deep bench” of female contenders for the 2016 presidential race, said EMILY’s List, a non-profit that aims to get pro-choice Democratic women in office.

EMILY’s List president Stephanie Schriock was quoted by the political website as naming Gregoire, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Homeland Security Janet Napolitano among a list of possible presidential candidates — that is, if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton decides not to run.

Schriock declined to tell the website whether she’d had any conversations with Gregoire or the other women about their potential hopes for the Oval Office.

How much foreign policy experience does she have?? Seems that the main criteria for even being considered is because she is a liberal female. Hillary would be a FAR superior candidate in 2016.

In one of the signal acts of his term as Governor, Jay Inslee began releasing some of the 500 documents Gregoire exempted from public disclosure under her claim of "executive privilege" — even though it wasn't a legally-recognized prerogative of hers. Most of those documents have proved to be pretty innocuous which supports the theory that Gregoire only withheld them because of her arrogance.
