  • Could you pass the driving tests now, as an adult? Are your teens ready?

TACOMA –  How many years has it been since you had to pass a driver’s license test? More importantly… if you HAD to take it today, would you pass? We decided to try it out ourselves, but our mission is twofold: First, to show adults everywhere that perhaps we have lost a few of our skills over the years (just us? No?); and second, to help parents learn the best ways to help make their soon-to-be-driving teens become safe, licensed […]

  • Rocking in the Rain: Capitol Hill Block Party Day 2 (PHOTOS)

Thoughts on Day 2 from Seattle Music enthusiast, Josh Diamond SEATTLE — Seattle festival culture 2015: this ain’t your “free concert from now on.” No, everything was for sale at the now massive, Alaska Airlines-sponsored Capitol Hill Block Party Day 2, including the punk and metal bands at Cha Cha Lounge. Every weekend for about four months during the summer, Lomonaco is sitting in a chair at a festival as a barrage of diverse tunes can be heard from not-so-far off. No, Lomonaco isn’t some music junky, hell-bent on cramming her summer months with festival corn dogs and an ever-growing case of Tinnitus. She works at the festivals. And she loves them […]
