Two arrested in Enumclaw considered persons of interest in 7-Eleven clerk's murder

ENUMCLAW, Wash. -- Two people taken to jail after a stand-off are persons of interest in connection to the shooting death of a store clerk last month.

Edmonds police say the two people were arrested in Enumclaw yesterday.

Both were already wanted by the Department of Corrections.

Detectives also confiscated a vehicle of interest to search for possible evidence.

The victim was identified as Nagendiram Kandasamy, 64, of Edmonds, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. His body was found shortly after 5 a.m. on Feb. 21 in the store off Highway 99.

Surveillance video shows a suspect enter the store, immediately jump on the counter and shoot at Kandasamy.
