National Weather Service cancels Tornado Warning for Aberdeen, Hoquiam



SEATTLE – The National Weather Service has canceled its Tornado Warning after it issued two warnings for parts of Grays Harbor County Tuesday afternoon.

Experts warned of the possibility of a tornado near Aberdeen and Hoquiam as well as pea-sized hail, affecting 27,625 people in the area. The department issued another warning for a remote area north of Humptulips shortly after.

Both warnings were canceled after 5:30 p.m.



Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation, and they say they haven't received any reports of damage yet.

Meteorologists warned of wet weather for the rest of the week with river flooding possible.
