Two earthquakes recorded near Fall City hours apart

KING COUNTY, Wash. -- Officials say a magnitude 3.4 earthquake was recorded Wednesday evening near Fall City, and a second one happened overnight Thursday.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) said the first earthquake happened at 7:10 p.m. about 3.6 miles northeast of Fall City at a depth of about 10.5 miles.

The second one, a 3.2 magnitude, happened about 12:45 a.m. Thursday about 3.6 miles from Fall City. More than 100 people reported feeling the quake.

It's unclear if there were any damage reports. Snoqualmie Police said the earthquake did set off security alarms.

PNSN is asking anyone who felt the earthquake to report it.
