Several ski resorts opening after winter storm

SEATTLE - A powerful storm dropped as much as three feet of snow across the Cascades this week, and it was enough for several ski areas to kick off their season.

Mount Baker Ski Area opened Sunday with limited chairs and runs.

Crystal Mountain opened a couple of weeks ago but opened more areas Saturday. White Pass also opened Saturday and Mission Ridge already has most of its chairs open.

Stevens Pass is set to open Wednesday.
