Flames erupt from vacant house in Seattle’s Capitol Hill area

SEATTLE — Crews battled a fire late Monday that started inside a vacant building in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Firefighters responded just after 11 p.m. to the 200 block of 10th Avenue East.

Just after midnight, Seattle Fire Department reported that the fire was under control.

It’s unclear how it started.
