Man seriously injured in South Seattle stabbing

SEATTLE -- Police are investigating a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital Thursday night in south Seattle.

The stabbing happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of S. Henderson Street and Rainier Avenue S. in the Dunlap neighborhood.

The Seattle Fire Department said a 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the incident.

Witnesses told investigators that the man was involved in a fight just before he stumbled away. An officer then spotted the man covered in blood in front of a bus.

Police are continuing to investigate. They said witnesses were not able to give a suspect description.
