2 shot in Tacoma, suspect in custody



TACOMA, Wash. -- Authorities say two people were injured in a shooting Monday in Tacoma.

It happened just before 10 p.m. near the intersection of E. 32nd Street and E. R Street.

Tacoma Police, who assisted the Puyallup Tribal Police with the case, say the victims' injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

A suspect is in custody on three counts of assault in the first degree.
