Man convicted of 10 charges from Burlington shooting

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — A Washington state man has been convicted on multiple charges related to a drive-by shooting.

The Skagit-Valley Herald reported Thursday that 51-year-old Keith Rawlins was convicted Thursday of 10 of 11 charges he faced in connection with the March 2018 shooting in Burlington.

Rawlins was found guilty on three counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He was also convicted of one count each of drive-by shooting, hit-and-run resulting in injury and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

He was found not guilty of possessing a stolen firearm.

Authorities say Rawlins was involved in an altercation with two teenage boys he tried to sell marijuana.
