2 hospitalized after stabbing, shooting in South Seattle



SEATTLE -- Authorities say two men were taken to the hospital Wednesday after an argument led to one being shot and the other stabbed.

It happened just before 2 p.m. on Rainier Avenue S near S. Rose Street.

The Seattle Fire Department said the man who was shot was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The man who was stabbed was hospitalized in stable condition, officials said.

Rainier Avenue was blocked in both directions in the area while officials investigated, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
