AT&T says 911 outage is fixed

UPDATE: AT&T says the issue has been fixed.

A nationwide AT&T outage is impacting 911 calls across the country, police said.

Local law enforcement said the outage could mean you’re not able to call 911 from your cell phone if AT&T is your service provider. It’s not affecting AT&T’s landlines.

The agencies recommend using a land line or other phone if you need to make emergency calls until the AT&T issues are fixed.
