Man charged with rape of 3 girls in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO, Wash. (AP) — A Mukilteo man has been charged with raping two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl near a high school.

The Seattle Times reports 19-year-old Cameron Stone was charged in Snohomish County District Court Tuesday with three counts of second-degree rape, three counts of third-degree rape and one count of rape of a child.

Court documents say Stone was an 18-year-old student at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo at the time of the alleged assaults.

Probable cause documents say police began investigating after the girls reported the incidents to their school's resource officer last year.

Charging documents say several girls told police the assaults happened in an abandoned parking lot that he called "the spot."

Jail records say Stone was arrested Thursday and released Friday after posting bail.

It wasn't known if he has an attorney.
