Hikers missing at Mount Rainier National Park located, officials say

PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. -- Authorities say two hikers missing at Mount Rainier National Park have been found.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office said on Twitter Monday night that the men were found and that "teams are working to bring the hikers down the trail to safety." Information on their exact condition was unclear.

Air and ground search efforts were started after the men, Wesley Barnhart and Kenneth Wilson, did not return from a hike on Sunday.

Their vehicle was found on Carbon River Forest Reserve Road and they were believed to be on the Mother Mountain trail along the northwest corner of the park.  It's unclear where searchers located the men.
