Black Maternal Health Week recognizes disparities mothers of color face during pregnancy



SEATTLE -- Black Maternal Health Week began Thursday, April 11th and lasts until Thursday, April 18th.

It's a time to recognize disparities mothers of color face during pregnancy and when getting help for their families.

Rokea Jones, along with Open Arms Perinatal Services and Families of Color Seattle, are hosting an event Tuesday evening for families.
